Why do we support the Y?
As the architects who designed the Moore Community Center and the Y’s Beechland Road Early Learning Center, we have seen first-hand how the Y continues to successfully partner with other groups to provide programs and services to strengthen our community. So often, those who could benefit the most from these programs and services are those least able to afford them. Sealander Architects is proud to support the Down East Family Y because we know the value of what the Y provides. We support the Y so there are scholarship funds for all kids to attend summer camp. We support the Y so that all families in our community can participate in fitness and youth sports activities. We support the Y because the Y makes Hancock County a better place.
