More than 150 runners & walkers participated in the 2nd Annual Veteran’s 4 Miler on Sunday, November 10th. The race, sponsored by The First, takes place on the Sunday closest to Veteran’s Day each year. Louie Luchini finished first with a time of 21.06. Louie was followed by Perry LeBreton, Rob Shea and Phillip Niggemann with times of 23.41, 24.50 and 25.29, respectively.
10 of the runners carried stones bearing the names of fallen Maine soldiers throughout the race. The stones were provided by The Summit Project, a Maine based organization that pays tribute to soldiers from Maine who have died serving their country.
