The Chief Financial Officer is a key leader and integral member of the leadership teams. This is a shared position between two YMCA’s in adjacent counties. The CFO position supports the work of The Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The CFO provides direction and leadership for finance and business operations. The CFO will be responsible for the execution of the YMCA’s accounting practices, maintenance of its fiscal records and preparation of financial reports. The CFO will ensure a system of strong internal controls and maintain fiscal soundness. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing annual external audits, completing 990 tax returns and preparation/presentation of information to outside entities. The CFO may also be asked to provide leadership and oversight in other areas such as human resources and information technology.
