Main Street Memorial Mile Results

225 participants ran, walked or strolled down Main Street for the Annual Main Street Memorial Mile. Sara Spenser kicked off the event with a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem.  Many of the participants wore race bibs with the names of loved ones who they were racing or walking in memory of.

Perry LeBreton, 41, crossed the finish line first with a time of 4:37. Grace Broughton, 13, was the first female to finish with a time of 5:39.

At the finish line Veteran David Slagger talked about the End 22 Project which sheds light on the fact that 22 veterans commit suicide each day. Slagger, along with all the willing and able participants, joined in completing 22 push-ups in honor of those who have taken their own lives.
