Bucksport Recreation is asking those who are interested in participating in travel basketball to complete an Interest Form. Registration is not yet open.
Over the last four years we’ve had multiple travel teams and players have grown from the experience of playing equal or better talent. Eastern Maine Basketball League sets the schedule well in advance and games are held in the greater Bangor area. The travel league is challenging and competitive. Playing time requirements vary depending on the age group and there are typically ten regular season games, five played at home and five away.
Travel basketball runs from late October to mid February and is open to Bucksport residents and residents of surrounding towns. The registration fee will be around $110 per player to cover officials, uniforms, league dues, Sibling discounts and financial assistance will be available.
