Zumba is a dance fitness program created by dancer and choreographer Alberto “Beto” Perez in Colombia during the 1990s. The program combines Latin and international music with dance in an effort to make exercise fun.

ZUMBA GIVES BACK

Our Zumba instructors have raised thousands of dollars for local charities in the past year by hosting events at the Y and else- where. Organizations who have benefited from our fundraisers have included: Relay for Life Special Olympics Suicide prevention Walk for Brock Beth C. Wright Cancer Center.
